THE MEGA EVENT

Gup-Shup 94.3 FM, "A tribute to Assamese music" will be the first and unique Mega Event of its kind in Assam. The event would include live performances by more than 150 great performing artists, (musicians, singers, dancers and actors) paying their tribute to doyens of the Assamese music world. If would be a celebration of the rich heritage and popular traditions of Assamese music. The evening will come alive with 15000 people cheering and cherishing the best of the best in the field. The event aims to be the most memorable musical event of the year.

WHY THIS EVENT ?
The Assamese Music fraternity has a unique array of talented figures that have enriched the musical heritage of the state over the last several decades. We at Gup-Shup salute and celebrate the spectacular and immensely varied artistry of their work. Gup-Shup 94.3 FM being a local Radio station has a symbiotic relationship with the Assamese musicians and has been the voice of the local music industry.

The event titled Gup-Shup "A Tribute to Assamese Music" is our humble endeavour to honour the legendary greats of Assam’s musical world.

This would be a unique event, the first of its kind in Assam. It will enable the people of our time to appreciate Assamese music and its richly popular traditions. A number of VVIPs, VIPs, Businessmen and people from the corporate world will grace the occasion. There will also be the presence of people who have been partners in the journey with us. This will be an event which will garner mass appeal with a signature.
